After 3 days off the water due to high tide in the afternoons was keen to
get out today. Gave a gybing lesson at 11.30am and wind seemed strong so
took my 4.6 straight after. Turned out that I was slightly underpowered,
but still had some nice runs and jumps. Also pulled off one nice tack on
the inside, which was very satisfying since normally my tacks on sub 85L
boards are poo. Not the best session since I was underpowered, but all
things considering (out on my smallest sail, perfect weather, everything a
million times better than it would be back home...), still pretty damn
good. Also no more rips in my patched up 4.6.
Low tide in the afternoons now so looking forward to getting lots of
sailing in the next few days.
